CHivas Regal - I rise, we rise - Post Production creative
Chivas Regal, in collaboration with BNXN, Sore, and TJ Omari, partnered with us to highlight stories of Nigerians forging their own paths in the creative world. The "I Rise, We Rise" campaign aimed to inspire young people by showcasing these unique journeys and resilience. We produced trailers and full-length episodes featured on their website and YouTube, alongside cutdowns, OOH, and statics to celebrate these narratives. The positive response from the client culminated in a TV commercial aired on Nigerian television, significantly enhancing Chivas Regal's reputation within the target audience.
An in-house creative team in London reached out to me, granting me full creative control to oversee the entire post-production process. The initial project, shot by a director, struggled to establish a narrative that resonated with the client’s vision. I immersed myself in understanding Pidgin English to authentically connect with the audience. Using a 150-page transcript, I crafted compelling storylines for three different episodes, focusing on seamless flow and visual engagement.
During our post-production, we discovered that BNXN was performing at Melkweg in Amsterdam, so we decided to go there and capture some extra shots of him on stage. We incorporated those clips into all the videos, enhancing the overall narrative and energy of the campaign.
