Mixed Perspectives

"Mixed Perspectives" is a short 4 part series in which young Dutch women of mixed race talk about their perspective on topics such as; Family and Upbringing, Hair, Self Esteem, Racism, and Micro Aggression. The overall theme is the sort of cultural identity crisis that often comes with being mixed race, most of them encountered this during their teenage years. The reason they’re speaking out about this is that it’s important to show others that they are not alone with these struggles. The goal is to encourage a younger generation to start their journey to self-love & acceptance early on.
